The area around Plateia Seferi, commonly called Ayia Napa Square, is the practical choice if you want restaurants, bars, clubs, shops and bus stops within a few minutes’ walk. The Square Bar and Castle Club are in the central zone, while Senior Frog’s and many other late-night venues are nearby on and around Ayias Mavris Street.

You can walk to the harbour and the western end of Pantachou Beach in around 15 to 20 minutes. Nissi Beach is approximately 3km away and is usually a 5 to 10-minute taxi journey when traffic is light. Expect to pay roughly €10 to €15, although late-night and pre-agreed resort fares can be higher.

Best for: groups of friends, first-time visitors, clubbers, solo travellers and anyone who does not want to depend on taxis.

Hotel style: central apartments, budget studios, adults-only hotels, mid-range properties and a few more comfortable options near the harbour. Consider Napa Plaza Hotel, Christabelle Hotel Apartments, Melpo Antia Hotel & Suites and Limanaki Beach Hotel & Suites closer to the harbour.

Hotels beside Pantachou and Glyki Nero are only around 1km to 2km from the centre and remain reasonably convenient on foot.
