The terrace is built into the coastline, with tables set among the fig trees and a wooden deck that extends toward the water. The shade is natural — the trees provide it. Come for lunch when the sun is brutal and Syko's canopy makes everything tolerable.
The water below the terrace is rocky and clear — some guests swim here, though it's not a sandy beach setup. Bring sandals with grip.

Cafe Miyu sits directly next to Syko and is worth knowing about. It's a different proposition — a compact café rather than a full beach bar — but the two venues complement each other well on the same stretch of coastline.
If Syko is fully booked for dinner or you want a lighter option before heading back toward Ayia Napa, Miyu is the natural fallback. The proximity means you can check both on arrival and decide on the spot.
Insider tip: The fig tree at the centre of the terrace is the oldest on the property — ask the staff about it. They'll tell you more about the place in five minutes than any guide can. And order the Greek Paloma — the tequila, grapefruit, honey, and oregano combination is the most original cocktail on the menu and specific to this bar.
