Journey time: Approximately 60–75 minutes — it makes a limited number of stops en route, so it is faster than a full shared transfer but slower than a private vehicle.
How to book: Online at kapnosairportshuttle.com. Book in advance, particularly in July–August when popular departure slots fill up. The service does not operate on a walk-up basis at the terminal in the same way a taxi does.
Best for: Solo travellers or pairs who want the convenience of a direct airport-origin service at a budget price. The fixed schedule means you know exactly when you are leaving, which is useful if you have an early connection elsewhere.
Not ideal for: Late-night arrivals (check operating hours before booking — the last departures are not 24/7), groups of four or more (where a private transfer becomes similarly priced per person), or travellers staying in smaller hotels away from the Kapnos route stops.
Option 4 — Pre-Booked Shared Transfer
A shared minivan collects multiple passengers from the same or consecutive flights and drops them at hotels in sequence. The trade-off is journey time — expect 60–90 minutes including stops, versus 40–50 for a private vehicle.

Option 5 — Public Bus (Not Recommended from the Airport)
This option is frequently listed online but rarely works in practice for airport arrivals.
The OSEA public bus serving the Larnaca–Ayia Napa corridor is Route 711. This route does not stop at Larnaca Airport terminal. It runs through Larnaca city centre. To use it from the airport, you would need to:
- Take a taxi from the airport to Larnaca city centre (~€15–20, 15 minutes)
- Find the Route 711 stop in central Larnaca
- Board the bus to Ayia Napa (journey time ~1.5 hours)
