Lasmari sits on Landa Beach (Nissi Avenue 99–103, Ayia Napa), straddling the line between beach bar and elevated restaurant. The setting is deliberately designed for slow moments — private cabanas, sea views from every table, and a kitchen that shoots noticeably above the standard beach-bar menu. It's one of those places that functions differently depending on when you arrive: daytime it's a cabana-and-swim base with cocktails; evening it fills with couples and groups who've sought it out specifically for the food.

On Landa Beach, Nissi Avenue 99–103, Ayia Napa — between Nissi Beach and Makronisos Beach on the western stretch of Ayia Napa's coastline. Accessible by foot from Nissi Beach (10 minutes west along the coastal path), by taxi from central Ayia Napa (€5–7), or on foot from Makronisos (10 minutes east).

Google Maps: Lasmari Beach Bar, Landa Beach, Ayia Napa

Lasmari has both a sandy sunbed section and a covered restaurant terrace directly above the water. The terrace is where most of the serious eating happens — shaded, with unobstructed sea views and a breeze that makes afternoon dining genuinely comfortable.

Sunbeds: €10–14 per bed. Available on first-come basis — no reservations for sun loungers.

Cabanas: Private beach cabana bookings available — ideal for a group that wants shade, service, and a reserved space for the day. Contact in advance to arrange.

Daily DJ Sessions: Music runs from late morning through the afternoon — background level that doesn't interrupt conversation, stepping up in the early evening. The soundtrack is curated rather than reactive.

The kitchen goes well beyond the standard beach bar menu. The Instagram account (@lasmari_beach) gives away the menu direction — modern Mediterranean dishes with quality sourcing, not tourist-resort defaults.

Drinks:

Daytime: Beach bar mode — sunbeds, cabanas, light menu, daily DJ sessions. The Tataki Tostadas and Burrata dishes work well as a shared lunch. Landa Beach is notably quieter than Nissi Beach — a feature rather than a bug.

Evening: The kitchen steps up. This is when Lasmari operates as a proper restaurant — the terrace fills with couples who've booked ahead, and the kitchen runs its full menu.

Tip: The Tataki Tostadas are the best lunch order on the menu — light enough that you can still swim after without regret, distinctive enough that you'll remember the meal. Order them with a Hugo and you have the Lasmari experience in two dishes.

Location

The Setup

What to Order

  • Fresh Tataki Tostadas — the signature shareable. Seared tuna tataki over crispy tostadas; the standout dish for a light lunch
  • Burrata Marinara pasta — Lasmari's take on the pasta trend: Burrata over a fresh Marinara base, creamy and punchy in equal measure. New for 2026 and worth ordering
  • Tuna Tartare — raw tuna, seasoned well, served with sea views. As good a version of this dish as you'll find on the Ayia Napa coast
  • Burrata Salad — fresh Burrata with seasonal greens; the right order when the sun is at its peak
  • Steak — for those who want to eat properly rather than graze; ask the staff what cut is on that day
  • Freshly caught fish of the day — displayed on ice at the entrance; ask what came in that morning. Priced by weight (€18–35/kg depending on species)
  • Hugo — the summer cocktail of choice at Lasmari; elderflower, prosecco, mint, and soda. Light enough for all-day drinking
  • Ouzo on the rocks — order with the seafood; Cypriot coastal tradition
  • White wine — the house Cypriot white is dry and crisp; good with fish (€4–6/glass)
  • Fresh lemonade — house-made, not from concentrate
