Malama Beach, Kapparis — approximately 3km north of Fig Tree Bay, on the east coast of Cyprus. Kapparis is a small residential coastal village that stays noticeably quieter than Protaras or Paralimni even in peak season. Best reached by car or moped. 20–25 minutes from central Ayia Napa.

Loungers sit on rock platforms at different levels — some elevated with wider views, some close to the water's edge. The layout is more curated than a typical sandy beach operation.
Sunbed hire: €12–18 per lounger. Minimum spend applies in peak season.
Best spots: The lower platforms closest to the water — you can dive or jump straight in. Book ahead in July–August; Kalifi fills up with regulars who know what they're getting.

This is the only beach bar in the area open every single day of the year.

That makes Kalifi one of the few beach venues in Cyprus worth visiting outside the main tourist season. The winter setting — water even clearer than summer, almost no crowds, local regulars at the bar — is genuinely underrated.
Vibe
Kalifi reads as upscale casual — not a party venue. The music stays at a comfortable background volume during the day, with live music and DJ sets in the evening. The conversation you came with is still audible at dinner.
Kalifi is also used as a wedding and events venue — the rock platform setting photographs exceptionally well and the team has experience with private bookings.
